2024: A Year of Creativity, and Growth

As we kick off the new year, I’m reflecting on some of the standout moments and exciting projects that made 2024 another great year in my colour grading journey.

From grading shows like Andrew Ridgeley’s, Britain's Favourite Christmas Songs (still currently airing on Channel 5) and Searching for Masculinity (streaming on Tubi), to working on exciting projects for Vice (Terror and Cocaine in the Peruvian Jungle) and MTV (Rag’n’Bone Man: I Want My MTV), as well as dynamic trailers for Sony and UECL Euro 2024, it’s been a year filled with collaboration and creativity.

Beyond the word of TV, I also had the pleasure of working on dynamic promos and official films for the UEFA Champions League Euro. Overall, it’s always inspiring to enhance a vision through the lens of colour and collaborate with creative teams in helping brands connect with their audience.

But 2024 wasn’t just about projects; it was also a year of learning and growth. I completed another Soho Editor’s Course in ACES for VFX pipeline (thanks to Screenskills), deepened my understanding of Dolby Vision and advanced management systems with expert Kevin Shaw CSI at FinalColor.

Another highlight this year was my fourth year as a mentor on the Beyond Barriers Student Mentoring Scheme, where I had the opportunity to give back while continuing to learn from others in return. The exchange of knowledge has been invaluable, and it’s an area I’m excited to keep exploring in 2025.

Looking ahead to 2025, I’m excited for more collaboration, creative projects, and the opportunity to build new relationships with both long-standing and new clients. Thanks to everyone I’ve had the pleasure of working with — here’s to another year of growth, creativity, and new opportunities.
